Network Backbone
Don't worry about the complicated stuff. We thrive in getting your system going from installing fiber, organizing your switches and IT closet, and getting your network running smoothly
Step 1
Step 1 includes scheduling a site walk to assess your site and the potential nuances of your business to determine the type of cabling required based on network requirements, cable distances, bandwidth needs, and other factors.
Step 4
Step 4 includes scheduling an additional appointment to determine findings, making additional recommendations, and making a a proposal to the client that includes scope and pricing. Step 4 involves a decision by the client to move forward or make additional changes.
Step 2
Step 2 is to determine equipment needs, permitting, number of work hours, and other considerations. Experts will define the network's structure, address scheme, and create the project's scope and framework.
Step 5
Step 5 is scheduling work crews, communicating with site or project manager, communicating changes as necessary, and monitoring the project. This step may involve running trenches in the ground, and running cables through walls, ceilings, or conduit.
Step 3
Step 3 is to gather as much information about the site, business needs, relevant vendors, shareholder considerations, as possible. Often blueprints, structural considerations, and project logistics are considered here. Other vendors are included.
Step 6 (Completion)
Step 6 includes connecting the cables, testing with specialized tools to test the cables for performance, configuring networking devices, and monitoring and maintaining performance, and securing the network from outside threats.
